Timeline
The galaxy has quietened into a strange calm as the major events of the year come to a close.
Following the defeat of the Empire Reborn movement, armed conflict between the Imperial Remnant and the New Republic wanes. While skirmishes and small-scale battles still occur, major offensives cease and the conflict seems to almost turn into a "Cold War". Supreme Commander of the Imperial Fleet, Gilad Pellaeon, controls the Loyalist Imperial forces in the Outer Rim territories.
The Disciples of Ragnos, a Sith Cult, attempt to wreak havoc across the galaxy. They are eventually thwarted by the Jedi. Most of the wise believe that this will not be the end. The Sith believed that it empowered both individuals and civilizations by forcing them to change, grow, and evolve. Conflict ensured that only the strong would survive, thus leading the Sith down the path to perfection.
The year is 14 ABY.
The Independent sector continues to thrive; as Smugglers of all sorts, Bounty Hunters of all moral standings and Assassins of all capabilities keep the underworlds turning and the shady organizations in weaponry. Despite abundant work some have begun to feel overshadowed by the bigger organizations. The Devall Syndicate continues to maintain a decent hold over most new business, and boasts the highest count of Smuggler employees at it's beck and call.
The Jedi follow the clues that will lead them to a mysterious Dark Jedi, rumored to have slain his Master. There are soft murmurs of a being, strong in the Force and familiar with Sith lore. He is on the rise and he will not stop.
The Naboo Empire, lead by the ambitious George V, has been extending the hand of treaty toward the Galactic Empire. A lucrative deal hangs in the balance of tentative negotiations. Is this the beginning of a beautiful friendship, or an action destined to create a troublesome future for both powers?

14 years after the Battle of Yavin (Star Wars A New Hope)
11 years after the Battle of Hoth (Star Wars Empire Strikes Back)
10 years after the Battle of Endor (Star Wars Return of the Jedi)
5 years after the Thrawn Offensive (Heir to the Empire)
