Take the test for your character. It is long enough, but if you're testing for a RPG character you can skip sections 2 and 3 (as far as I can remember). It's an interesting one.
Tylana scored a 19. "Probably not a Mary-Sue, although a character can go either way at this point. Fanfiction writers should pay attention to ensure that their characters aren't getting too Sue-ish. For an RPG or original fiction character, however, you're probably perfectly fine."

| I got an 18. Most of the check marks were in the looks department, not surprisingly. I admit, I *usually* do base my main characters off my own appearance and are arguably my alter egos. I do deviate away from many other Mary Sue things. I especially hate making my characters invincible, it takes alot of excitement away from the story and removes a sort of humanity to the character. Granted, Jaren may become pretty tough later on if he resumes his training as a Jedi.

I would of done this, but it seems it has nothing for a character which was made to be creepy.. _________________

I know exactly what you mean. Two of my most used characters resemble me. In fact I put the other one through the test and she scored a 47. There is no way I'm changing her though, I love her too much.
The majority of Tylana's checks were in the looks department too. I think the score was kept low enough because she isn't infallible and while she is good at some of the things she does, she is by no means the best.
This was my favourite question: Does your character use a sword-type weapon in a relatively modern setting for no logical reason? _________________

"7. Do you use poetic and/or creative terms to describe your character?"
What the hell is that supposed to mean? And what if I try to be as poetic and/or creative in describing everything as possible and my own character is in turn described poetically and/or creatively as a side-effect? Does that still count? Shouldn't authors try their best to be poetic and/or creative in their descriptions and simply their writing in general? BAAAAH!
Anyway, I got a 22 because I went ahead and checked that box just in case, cause I dunno what it was talking about. Not surprising. I rp a Mandalorian. Their whole culture raises children to become that stereotypical badass type with morals and wisdom misunderstood by most. Yeah... Suish for certain, but hey, at least I don't wave around Force powers on top of it, right?

I think they mean exceptionally flowery prose. Maybe something like:
Her golden hair glistened like the dew upon the daffodils that bare the same colour as her beautiful strands,
Her eyes were sparkling orbs of twilight; the amethyst colour rivaling any precious gem,
She must treat softly, for she tread upon my dreams.
Or something equally queer. If this is the case then no, you do NOT use poetry to describe your character. _________________

Hahahaha!!! Vil got a 20 >.> The name thing screwed me up a bit. I was like yes, she choose her alias which is really the name she goes by now and if you say her last name, it could sound Japanese. And then I thought though Dunavila doesn't sound boyish her nickname Vil does.
# 46 confused me cause we do have Force users in the game and not everyone is them... so, hmm. I ended up not clicking that one. Who knows what my score would be then.
I did pick Vil's race not because of it's rareness (Though I did click it in the form) but because my very first Star Wars char I made up as a kid was not a traditional race and something I made up. Cue 10+ years later and I come across the Firrerreo in one of my brother's Star Wars race books and that was like a sudden flashback to my childhood. I had to use it, if only for the good memories. _________________
