Plot:
A back water world controlled by the Republic or some other government stumbles upon an ancient device of which they know nothing about.
Days go by and researchers and scientists try to understand the device, what it does, where it came from, who built it, the works.
A few weeks later reports of unknown creatures and attacks to local settlers begin to scare everybody, local fauna begins to mutate and turn into mad crazed beasts, several settlers begin to disappear and aren’t found again, the scientists and researchers blame the device that suddenly had begin to function without any warning.
A couple of months later the local government sends out cries of help, with a huge fortune to whoever is able to stop recent events.
Well, I don’t think it’s such a new and grandiose plot but it should do the trick, I would like everyone to give their thoughts about it perhaps even improve it a little bit so that in the future we can use it for our entertainment, I haven’t put any NPC’s or any characters in the plot since it’s still rather raw material, it’s just a sketch sort of speak, thank you for your attention.
That's a creepy idea Kunin. I love it. I think perhaps having the planet controlled by a local Government, as opposed to NR would be the way to go. If it was under NR jurisdiction they'd have sent a few top minds in the science field to have a look at it.
Instead when they hear the call they can send people, maybe even the Jedi. I can also see a few credit hungry Independents stopping by to take a look.
I think Kri would be perfect for this sl. He's a NR scout. I'll let him know about it and see if he's interested. _________________
Wow, it's like a horror movie and Star Wars all rolled into one. That makes the horror buff in me happy in the pantular region. I don't think Vil'll fit in unless she absolutely strapped for cash, but just being able to read along is enough for me. _________________ Work Schedule

If Darin gets wind of this, he'll likely show up on the off chance the object is in some way related to the ancient Sith, so count him in if you get this started!
Well my goal here is to get as many participants as possible to keep everyone entertained, after that I’ll shape it to everyone’s needs, as I said before the plot is still in it’s raw format.
A few images I have gathered for the plot later on, there are still more and they'll only be put here when the plot starts, shortly before the Games finish I'll put the last draft of the storyline to get your feedback.
The more the merrier, as I said before once the plot is done I hope everyone submits a request to join here on this thread or something in that order, I already have all the images I need to make it more 'real' for you, you'll have something to aid your imagination, however I haven't begun to mold the plot to fit everyones needs, if anyone has ideas for it I would gladly hear them, it should have something to do with the old Sith, that's the only thing I've thought so far, thank you for your attention.
what about a creepy little girl and a powerful sith holocron? You can use creepy little girl laughs and her playful manner as a way of spreading the evil. Just an idea _________________
Well, don't get me wrong but I just saw a horror movie with a creepy little girl, most of the horror movies have that kind of thing so it's a bit of a cliché.
I have an idea about the machine and things that will envolve it, besides with the mutated beasts and such you'll have plenty of evil running around, so don't worry about the spreading of it.
Powerful Sith holocron = Darin, he'll go to Hell and back to get one of those, then go back again just to kill anyone who pissed him off while he was there
With bills piling up and a low bank account and a few crucial keys left out of the contract, Vil can be sent out by an employer to pick up a Sith (or any) holocron, that'll drag her into the fray with good reason. _________________ Work Schedule

Ostion is a small planet in the Outer Rim, controlled by a local government, they depend all too much on their farm lands, having several big cities on it, some of them cut off from the mainland, the capital is several kilometres from the continent, Ostion Prime’s the name.
The small planet depends on its big and productive farms in order to feed their population, has lots of forests and not long ago several mines of Meleenium were found in them, most of them on caves, looking to make a profit to better their infrastructures and to build up a small security force to fend off criminals and pirates the local government decides to search for more mines.
One day deep into the darkest and most sinister forest, The Penance Forest, name given because of the farmers parents using it to discipline their children by leaving them inside it, a party consisting of 8 trained soldiers venture in it searching for mines of any kind, when finally they find a mine they decide to enter it and search for something of interest, they walk for a long time for what seemed like 10 kilometres inside the dark walls, with several streams of water inside, and in the end they find an entrance.
As they are able to open it they stumble upon a weird machine in a large room, while they search their surroundings they find another entrance, getting in was easier now, in it was nothing more than a Holocron, when one of them picks it up the machine suddenly starts working, they don’t know what happened, they just figured they had activated it somehow, what they didn’t notice was a crevice in that room but with so little light inside it was understandable.
Once the Mayor of Ostion Prime is aware of what was found he decides to send the government scientists to study this machine and understand what happened and what does it do, their efforts are futile and they are completely distraught by this, no one understand how to work with the Holocron and it remains a mystery why it’s there.
A few weeks later reports of local fauna mutating spreads all over the planet, even the weather and environment begins to change, the dark forest seems to grow larger, the local scientists advise the Mayor to destroy the machine, as they go back the security personnel try to attach a bomb to it, this is the communication between them that was picked up by the scientists near the exit of the cave.
“I have a bad feeling about this.”, the bomb specialist said, “Don’t worry so much, come on, just put that damn thing already!”, the armed men replied.
A noise was heard in the background, “What the hell was that?”, the man with the gun slowly went to check what was happening in the back of the main hall, as he disappeared from the bombers sight a shrieking scream was heard, the sound of flesh being eaten and torn apart echoed in the hall, the lone man tried to run for his life, “OH MY GOD!! PLEASE HELP ME, IT’S COMING AFTER ME, IT’S CO…”, the screams of pain and agony couldn’t only be heard on the commstation but outside the cave as well.
After that incident was reported back to Ostion Prime all of the people there just disappeared, no one heard anything else from them, attacks break havoc everywhere in the mainland, reports of mad crazed monsters and disappeared farmers and families worry everyone, the local government can’t do anything to stop this events and orders it’s security forces to abandon the mainland and defend their cities and strongholds, leaving the colonists in the continent to fight for their lifes.
Two months pass since the machine was discovered and several expeditions were made to The Penance Forest, none heard from ever since, the Mayor decides then to put a call for anyone who could help them out, promising thousands of credits for anyone who stops this and perhaps something else they have in mind.
Ok then, this is the best I could come up with so far, if you have any ideas in how to improve it I would gladly like to hear them, there are several things about the plot that will only be revealed as it evolves so for now it’s not that shabby I think, also I’ll make a few NPC troopers to tag along with you if you like, after all not everyone can make it and since most of us would like to have our characters for a long time I think it’s the best way to go.
