In this thread I will post current and past Quotes of note. If anybody would like to submit a piece of writing, be it their own or a fellow writer's, that they think is quote worthy please do so here. Or you can alternatively PM the Admin.

21st January - 28th January 2008. Kri Silik is our very first Quote of the Week.

The lupine creature took his maw up into his own paws, lamenting only in that the ecstasy of his actions was over, as was his feast. No more would his fearsome blast be heard throughout the realm. The tauntaun was vanquished, and in his ceaseless attack he had greedily taken all from the best. No more was he to receive pleasure in the delight of his evil deed.

In a change of manner, he respectfully laid the violated bones of the animal in a circular pattern. He more than anyone understood that without the producer, a predator could have no feet to stand upon. To him, this beast, as much as any other, deserved the place that was going to be given to him in the afterlife. His sustenance relied on the life of other's, and without the ability to extinguish a force of life, that life which depends on death cannot flourish.

- Kri Silik, Enchanted Introduction.

28th January - 6th February 2008. Dunavila Masunati is this week's Quote of the Week.

In the haze of slumber, a heartbeat between dreams and nightmares the woman drifted. The weight of a knee dipped the thin mattress down, the displacement of a hand near her waist. The faint smell of fresh rain and crushed leaves lingered in the recycled air washing over her in familiar memories. Vil curled her head down further into the crook of her arm, eyes fluttering beneath paper thin lids. A small hand; bronze in color stretched from the darkness of her mind and splayed tiny fingers against her cheek pulling away the loose strands that clung to her mouth before a soft giggle echoed in the cool confines.

- Dunavila Masunati, Enchanted Introduction.

6th February - 13th February 2008. Jaffa Gar / Zec Aalto is this week's Quote of the Week.

Jaffa let out a primal roar as he sunk his claws into the thick leathery flesh of the wolf-boar's back. Immediately the stunned animal screeched and began bucking. Jaffa held tight, keeping a firm grip with his front claws. His leg muscles pumped as he racked his hind claws across his quarry's back. Hunks of skin fell from the boar-wolf, but he had yet to draw blood. The stubborn beast continued to buck, and with great effort, launched the Togorian from it's back. Jaffa was temporarily dazed from the short, but violent, struggle, but managed to manipulate his fall so that he landed firmly on his legs. By now the boar-wolf was keeping a close watch on him, it's eyes full of hate and the same primal instinct that filled Jaffa's. During this momentary standoff, he was able to get a better look at what he faced. The boar-wolf was aptly named, possessing the humpbacked form of a boar, with the claws and maw of a wolf.

- Jaffa Gar, Enchanted Introduction.

14th February - 10th March 2008. "Ace" is the Quote of the Week. ( Aside - This particular quote ran longer than expected due to Admin's technical difficulties )

Depending on who taught you, a description of the darkside was always different. Jedi viewed it as evil, Sith thought of it as liberating. But neither had to suffer as Ace was forced to suffer. None of them understood what it was really like to bask in the darkness for so long, to feel its grip on mind, body, and soul, to use its most archaic techniques, and bathe in the suffering it brought on others. And then just to leave. No...you can't "just leave." It hounds you, it begs you to use it again, for you to just taste the power it brought out. It haunts you in your sleep and makes you miss the sensation it left after its touch. To Ace, the darkside was more than a feeling, it was almost an embodiment. It draped over his shoulders and whispered teasingly in his ear.

- "Ace", Enchanted Introduction.

11th March - 21st March 2008. Kri Silik is once again chosen as Quote of the Week. ( Aside - This quote will also run longer than usual due to Admin hiatus )

I really don't wanna die today...

The Shistavanen looked over slowly, shaking his head with an exacting stance. He stood now on all fours, though it was only a matter of seconds before he attained a secondary pose. Straightening his garments, he looked down from his now bipedal stance with a glare of hatred. Taking the vibro-ax to his paws he looked down at Ace with grandiose contempt.

Contempt so deep in fact that one may feel it as a palpable sensation. Reaching out, one could seemingly touch the hatred in such a manner as to touch any stone - strong and gritty. It could be held in one's hand if holding such raw anger was not so hazardous to one's health.

- Kri Silik, Enchanted Introduction.

21st March - 28th March 2008. Raven is this week's Quote of the Week.

Hopefully his plan would be set forth quickly. He didn't believe it would be hard to find people who believed the same way he did. He was sure plenty of people hated the Republic, and even more hated the Jedi. Truth be told, he hadn't really been looking that hard yet. He had been trying to find a planet where the Jedi would not send for him. Naboo was not the smartest place to go, it was a mistake he had made and one he was going to have to correct. As if they where on time, the door to the roof was slammed open and footsteps echoed throughout the night as a group of people emerged from the building...

- Landon Kornan, AKA Raven, Enchanted Introduction.

( Please note - there is a long backlog of Quotes of the Week due to my technical problems, so please do not be disappointed if you do not see a quote that you have nominated, it is coming up! )

31st March - 6th April 2008. Shayna Ordo is this week's Quote of the Week.

Shayna let her words hang as she walked over to the Moff. Her beskar boots make a clunking sound on the deck as she walked. She couldn't get in the Moff's face due to his stormtrooper escort, but she could sure get in his head. She was in deep too. The Moff's shell of authority was obviously cobbled together from borrowed parts of better men and he was losing the cohesion that held his little arts and craft project together.

- Shayna Ordo, Enchanted Introduction.

17th April - 24th April 2008. Jaren is this week's Quote of the Week.

Jaren pointed to the blue one, simmering in the light next a brighter shade of light red....was that it? He couldn't tell. The blue patch swam. "Yeah, t-that one." Jaren stuttered a bit. "OH! This one? Are you serious!? Fantastic Jaren, you rock!" she exclaimed enthusiastically. Jaren wondered for a moment why she was so enthusiastic about his choice, but he couldn't really care all too much at the moment - all he wanted to figure out was why things all of a sudden got so blurry.

- Jaren, Hide and Seek.

24th April - 1st May 2008. Ran'leth Vell is this week's Quote of the Week.

"Kaz, please remind me why we keep taking these mundane jobs for the super rich bureaucrats of the galaxy."

Kazek Saey, a Zabrak mercenary, co-pilot and general partner to Ran'leth Vell, was use to these types of questions from his Captain. Mainly because he asked them almost every time they did one of these milk run transports. Kaz, as most people call him, is a patient and quiet man, so he takes his Captain's comments for what they are. General frustration over the need to keep working for other people. This isn't what they set out to do, but it is what they have to do.

- Ran'leth Vell, The Balmorran Incident.

6th May - 13th May 2008. Ace is this week's Quote of the Week.

"If you don't do everything I tell you, I'm gonna tell daddy that your hands were a bit too freelance, got it Mister!" Ace looked at the girl in horror, too shocked to move, and too afraid to speak. "That's what I thought, cur!"
He wanted to run, he wanted to cry, he wanted to be anywhere but here. And when the first order was given, Ace wondered just how much he loved his father...

- "Ace", Fallen from Grace.
