Update!

I have added a few new features to SWE.

We now have a calendar, which can be located in Board Navigation on the portal page, or alternatively in your own UCP. Use this to add birthdays, holidays or trips and any upcoming events that may be important to you.

There has been a NPC ( Non-Playable Character ) list added to the Cast of Characters forum. To avail simply go to the forum and fill out the short application.

Our new skin; so far the feedback has been positive. However if you prefer the original look JediKnights is still available for you to change in your profile, along with trusty subSilver for the Plain Janes among us.

Coming Soon: A ship reward system for all members.

Coming Soon: "Member of the Month"; one member selected per month for his/her contribution to SWE or for outstanding roleplay. This particular feature I hope to begin within the month but it will be subject to activity. If you would like to nominate someone, or even yourself, for Member of the Month please PM me.

An extensive pruning of SWE's inactive members has begun as of today. We seem to have quite a few registered users who have not returned since registration. This will help me to differentiate between those who have registered and dropped off the face of our planet and those who have registered and simply forgotten. So if you notice a drop in our member count, do not be alarmed it was done purposely.

Now, on to much, much nicer things. Some of you may already know that I will be heading off to New York this Saturday 15th and returning Thursday 20th. Although I am fairly sure all will be well, I will be checking in sporadically ( if I get the opportunity ) so if there are any problems leave me a message and I will deal with it as quickly as I can. In my absence Ace and Kri have agreed to keep an eye on any board issues that may arise, and will be approving any new character applications. I will be adding this note in the Character Creation thread before I leave so any possible new member is aware of the changes. I have also appointed George as moderator of his brainchild, Faction HQ.

The moving of SWE to another server will more than likely commence when I return from my trip and have had a chance to settle back in. Or recover from the trip's collective hangover.
