Ko'yi sat at her stool with her back to the bar, legs crossed, her lekku entangled about her neck. She was watching the band, consisting of two Bith, a Rodian and two Twi'lek singers. They were horrible, as usual, but every night Ko found herself sitting in this dingy outer-rim cantina sipping juma juice and watching this ungainly pop group. Perhaps it was the Juma that bought her back. Perhaps it was the contant threat of a bar-brawl - she was never one to miss a fight. Or perhaps it was because one of the Twi'lek singers looked suspiciously like her sister. She was the same, distinct, dark violet colour, had the same sun tattoo on her lower back, and the same feiry gold eyes... but whenever Ko met the singer's eye, no recognition showed on her face. It was odd. It hadn't been that long since the last time she'd seen her sister, surely she'd recognise Ko.
With a heavy sigh she swivelled on her seat and turned back to the bar. "Another pot of Juma," she ordered the Duros barman gruffly, and he obliged. He didn't even bother asking for her credits, he knew to charge it to her tab. She downed most of the drink in one go and stood, approaching the stage where the band was playing. She waited until the song had ended before she spoke. "Kara? Karamalin?" she called, staring at the violet singer. The other Twi'lek stared right back, arching an eyebrow.
"Whatever language you're speakin', honey, I don't understand it," she said awkwardly, taking a small step back from Ko. Her accent betrayed that she was from Coruscant, or at least had lived there for some time, and her voice was much too high to be Karamalin's.
"I'm sorry, I thought... thought you was someone else," Ko mumbled in response, turned on her heel and walked back to the bar. She downed the rest of her Juma Juice and moved over to the Pazaak table. It was nearly empty, but for a few players already mid game, so she hovered about, watching and waiting for her turn.
((OOC; Ko wants some friends >_< please come and entertain her. Hit on her, challenge her to a fight, anything!! xD)) _________________

As Kri Silik came through the bar, he growled beneath his breath and stared at the barkeep. He thought to himself how much he had marveled at the succulent meat that came from the Duros member of his operations crew so long ago. Sentient beings always tasted far better than the poor steaks that were served in cantinas like this, he thought, and for a moment he toyed with the idea of finding something in here sick and weak to take down easily. Allowing these admittedly normal thoughts to pass, he found himself inside of the bar and soon next to the Twi'lek named Ko'yi. He did not, however, recognize her or even know her name.
Therefore, he raised a brow to her, finally having lost the ideas of cannibalism that he had stored within. Instead, he tried to act as civilly as a lupine male could, though this fact would certainly still keep him from appearing as most of the bar’s patrons. He tried, however, to speak his best to her without the usual stumbling block of xenophobic comments he was known for.
Sighing softly, he tried to think of what to say that was not a threat.
“I am Kri Silik…and…uhh…”
He petered off, hoping she would have picked up the conversation. _________________
