A Welcome and a Farewell!

First of all I'd like to welcome our newest members and their characters to SWE. Tamaranth, Kunin, Darin, Shrina and Kin it's great to have you here and can't wait to get stuck in to some memorable RP with you. Secondly, a huge thank you to Omi (aka Vil to the uninitiated) for making some fantastic banners for SWE's advertisement drive. I'm bowing to her GFX skillz and I'm fairly confident the spiffy new effects will attract plenty of traffic. From there it's up to us to apprehend said traffic and make them want to stay, and the only way to do that is to continue the high standard of RP we've established.

Next on the agenda is the issue of my vacation. I'm leaving you all very early tomorrow morning for Greece, and I won't be back for a week. It comes at an unfortunate time in the development of the site but the Makers know I need a bloody break! Ace, being the gem that he is, has agreed to keep an eye on any new applicantions and he will be given my account details in the event anything should go wrong. That said, I don't foresee any problems and I will no doubt be checking in when I get the opportunity. A week, after all, is a long time for me to be without 1. Internet access and 2. SWRP. I'll be trying my hardest to get as much posting done as I can tonight. After that, I'm fairly sure most storylines can continue without me and I hope they do. When I check in and get home I want to see mammoth postage. So I can sit down and recover from my week of drunken debauchery with some good reading.
