Appearance:Bren is 6' 2" tall and weighs 215 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. A lifetime dedicated to personal fitness have given him a well defined physique and exalent health. He has a three inch scar that extends from the forehead to his cheek, over his left eye. There is a blaster burn scar on his right shoulder and left thigh. As one would expect of a man in his position, Bren is always well dressed in the finest cloths from all over the galaxy. It is said that he has a natural Sabac face, because his expression is always under control.

Personality:Cool and calm under pressure is the best way to describe Bren's personality. He is very business like in his approach to all aspects of his life. He has a very overpowering will, that was instilled in him since childhood. He is highly intelligent and very calculative.

History:From the time of his birth, Bren was groomed to be a soldier. His father, a member of the Sun Guard of Thyrsus, made sure of this. Every day of his life was combat and tactical training. By the time he was 12, he could kill a man with his bare hands. He would spend the next six years training in the ways of the galaxy along with his combat training. Learning languages and suffistication, from many worlds throughout the galaxy. All of this was in preparation for his life a member of the Sun Guard. As fate would have it, a week before his initiation was to begin, Bren was returning home from a hunting trip with his father and brother. When the speeder that they were in was attacked by a group of Mandalorians on a hunting trip of their own. The three men found themselves outnumbered by 5 men. The battle raged for more than an hour before the outcome was decided. Bren had been shot in the right shoulder and in the left thigh. His brother, Krell had lost his left arm, and his father Krill, lay dead. As did all of the Mandalorians.

The Cora family had been effectively broken by this event. Bren's brother, Krell, was forced out of the Sun Guard because of his injury. He disappeared a few months later, riddled with feelings of loss and inadequacy, because of his handicap. He left his home, never to be heard from again.

Bren's mother,Scyll, was overcome with grief from the loss of her beloved, and then the sudden disappearance of Krell, She took her own life one night, shortly after, while in a drunken, grief stricken rage.

Bren, who could no longer join the Sun Guard, because of his fathers death, he had to be sponsored to join. Along with his mothers suicide and brother's disappearance,left Thyrsus to find a new life. He wandered the galaxy for a while trying to find a place to fit in. He found it, the hard way. During a botched smuggling job, he was captured by the Empire. His crime was considered a minor one, but he was given an option. Go to a labor colony, for two years, or join the Imperial Storm Trooper academy. He chose the later.

Bren spent four years on active duty, serving with high distinction. Then the civil war started. He was serving on board the Star Destroyer Vengeance, when he came to the attention of the high Imperial command.While on an escort duty, to protect Moff Grill on Mimban, his unit was attacked by rebels. The battle was fierce and bloody. According to Moff Grill, Bren single handedly killed 20 rebels. He was the last man standing in the battle, and he saved Grill's life. After this Grill sponsored Cora for enlistment at the Imperial guard academy. He welcomed this post eagerly. Bren was raised on the stories his father had told him about the how he and many other members of the Sun Guard had served the Emperor, during the Clone Wars. He thought, if he could not join the Sun Guard, this was the next best thing. He had finally found the purpose that he so greatly was missing in his life.

The guard academy was the hardest thing that he had ever gone through in his entire life. The physical and mental stress was, at times, unbearable. Never the less, he persevered to be the best of his class. When graduation day came, there he stood, in front of the emperor. He was commanded to battle his closest and best friend at the academy to the death. He bowed his head to his emperor, and tipped his double bladed vibro sword toward his friend. It was the hardest fight he had ever had. Ten minutes had passed, with neither combatant gaining an edge. The two attacked with controlled fury, not giving an inch, to either. As the battle wained, Bren was hit across the left eye, causing a three inch gash. He stumbled back a step and started to loose his ballance. At that moment his friend moved in for the kill. Slashing his blade down from overhead, Bren lay on his back seemingly helpless. Then, as the blade was an instant away from diving into his forehead, Bren thrust his hand up at the blade, and seemingly blocked it aside. Confused and now, off balance Bren's attacked tripped over him. With a single sweep of his blade, Bren severed the mans head before he hit the ground. Impressed with what he had just witnessed, the Emperor rose to his feet, and began to clap. Bren immediately dropped to one knee and bowed his head. The Emperor smiled and said, "Welcome to my elite guard, you will be one of my finest, I have no doubt." Then turned and left the arena.

Bren served the Emperor flawlessly and faithfully for two years, before he was approached by a woman he only new by site. She was a personal agent of the Emperor, and that was all he would ever know. She told him that he had been selected by the Emperor personally to receive some extra training. He was to become one the few who would serve the Empire as a Sovereign Protector. He was to be trained in the ways of the force, so he could serve the Empire as a personal agent of the Emperor. This training was long and hard. Bren never known a man could be put through as much pain, and still survive. His training was cruel and dark. Though Bren new that his loyalty had to be tested and proven. For two years he endured grueling trials of personal sacrifice and pain. The day came for Bren Cora to take his place upon his destiny, and then his world was shattered again. The Emperor had been slain, and the Empire was in chaos.

Bren went into hiding for the next five years, not to be heard from. He changed his name and became a bounty hunter and assassin. He would be known to the Galaxy as Shintar Vekk. His skill as a warrior and dark side training made him into a lethal weapon, and Bren exploited that to his financial prosperity. Earning enough credits to buy a portion of a asteroid resort station, Bren quikly amassed a huge fortune. Enough so that he was able to buy out his other partners to be the sole proprietor of the station. But he figured,why spent the creds, when his alter ego could just kill them and it would be his for free. And that was exactly what he did. Now the sole owner of the station, Bren renamed it, The Crimson Palace.

Now in a position of power Bren discovered how much intel someone could discover when people were made to feel comfortable. For the ones that he didn't want to feel that comfort, there is always Shintar Vekk. Keeping these two identities separate and individual is the key to his great success. Cora is the face of the operation, and Vekk is the muscle. With a spy network that rivals the Bothans, Bren Cora is determined to feed data to the Imperial remnant with the hope and desire of bringing about an end to this usurper government calling itself the New Republic, and finding and killin those responsible for his Emperor's death.
