What is this place?
Star Wars Enchantment is a message board dedicated to role-play in the Star Wars Universe.
What do I have to do?
If you have an interest in joining and have read the rules then you will first have to register.
What then?
There are a couple of options available to you. You can enter the Free Forum and begin role-play immediately, or you can submit a character application, wait for it to be accepted, and join the team in Enchanted Epics.
What is expected of me as a writer?
As mentioned before, all writers of different standards and variety are welcome, but in order to create and maintain a natural and high standard flow of storytelling I must ask that all posts be well-thought out, of a minimum of three paragraphs and double-checked. In this day and age there is little excuse for poor spelling. Everyone has access to a spellcheck, and if you do not write within Word there are online spellcheckers available, I myself use Google taskbar. If you are feeling rushed, or if you have more pressing real life issues on your mind, come back to your post later when you can dedicate a bit of time to it.
Do I have to apply for a character? How many can I have?
No you do not. If you wish to role-play within Enchanted Epics or Memory File however, you must apply. There are no limits on how many characters you have. You are free to take on as many as you can handle, but remember that before you create your second character you must at least have one substantial role-play post under your belt with your first created character.
Do you allow Godmoding here?
Absolutely not. If, for the sake of uninterrupted role-play, you want to write another character then you must have express permission from that character's writer. If you do not, and the writer is unhappy with your post you will be asked to make the appropriate changes accordingly, or your post will be deleted.
Do you play in a timeline?
Yes we do. Star Wars Enchantment is playing 14 years After the Battle of Yavin. This means:
14 years after the Battle of Yavin (Star Wars A New Hope)
11 years after the Battle of Hoth (Star Wars Empire Strikes Back)
10 years after the Battle of Endor (Star Wars Return of the Jedi)
5 years after the Thrawn Offensive (Heir to the Empire)
