A Treaty Perhaps?

George awoke from his slumber. He knew today was the day he was going to Coruscant to negotiate a treaty with the Galactic Empire. If things went wrong today, he wouldn’t be able to turn to any of the major governments in the galaxy.

Moments before he was about to leave for Coruscant, George had an idea. He would offer millions of Gungans to the empire as slaves, for exchange for something else. George ordered the Royal Naboo Security Force to find at least one thousand Gungans to take with them to Coruscant.

You would think finding one thousand Gungans would be difficult and time-consuming, however, There were about ten thousand Gungan slaves forced to work in the Naboo Palace. The full one thousand were loaded onto the Naboo Empire’s modified Providence-class carrier/destroyer .

They left the Naboo system with escort frigates and many N-1 star fighters as a precaution if things didn’t go as planned.

Entering the Coruscant system, George could only think ‘How nice to see this system again. I’ve not been here since the Clone Wars’. Entering the planets atmosphere brought back even more memories to George. Some good, some bad. George only knew he wanted to leave as soon as he could.

Landing the Destroyer onto the extra large landing platform, George was escorted to the meeting hall where the Treaty offer would be given. It was only a small room, a desk and a few chairs. Enough for about ten humanoid species. The Empire officials enter the room. George begins his proposal.

“Greetings gentlemen, I am King George V, ruler of The Naboo Empire. Here today I wish to create a treaty with the Galactic Empire. The reasons behind this would be my Empire is based on this one, except we only discriminate the Gungan species. A treaty by out strong governments would be ideal for both of us. One, we would not have to try and defeat each other, but work together to destroy the Rebellion, or as they call themselves, the New Republic. I am willing to give the Empire over one million Gungan slave workers in exchange for one of the Empire’s Victory-class Star Destroyers to show that our great governments are united. I can give one thousand Gungans now, and the rest at any later date fitting to the Galactic Empire. The terms of the treaty would be as follows:
1) The Naboo Empire may not attack any territory owned by the Galactic Empire and vice versa.
2) The Naboo Empire may not leave any ships in any Galactic Empire system without the consent of a Galactic Empire official and vice versa.
3) The Naboo Empire may not produce any anti-Galactic Empire propaganda and vice versa.
4) The Naboo Empire is to give a total off 1,000,000 Gungans to the Galactic Empire.
5) The Galactic Empire is to give a total of 1 Victory-class Star Destroyer to the Galactic Empire.
6) The Naboo Empire may not side with the Rebellion/New Republic at anytime and vice versa.
7) The Naboo Empire may not side with an enemy of the Galactic Empire at anytime and vice versa.

“If one of the terms is broken, the treaty becomes null and void.” George takes a sip off water to clear his throat then continues, “Gentlemen, now is the time to negotiate. If you would like the Terms and Conditions to be changed, we need to discuss it.

Gregori sat amongst the other Imperial officials. He appeared in his human form and donned his black officer uniform along with the cap that came with it. He was one of the first to speak up on the Empire's side.

"We can't assume that you'll be responsible for the Star Destroyer. Though it will technically become yours if the treaty is signed, you must use it appropriatly. Say you use it to attack any sort of foe your empire might face. They might automatically accuse us, being that it is a ship that only our Empire manufactures. It could also be used for framing of any sort."

Gregori took a sip of water and continued. "To prevent this, I demand that I am allowed to have several of my Dark Shephard agents aboard the ship that we supply you with. They will take the form of your men, so you will not be able to pick them out from the others. I'm still unsure of my side on this matter though."

As the Imperial official spoke, George could see his fear off the ship being used to destroy enemies the empire hadn't heard off, and then they get the blame. He smirked. He found it slightly amusing that the Empire had such worries.

George reached for he glass of water. He did not drink any of it, however, but began to speak. "The Star Destroyer would be placed within the Naboo sysyem, and possibly go out on ReCon missions to our allied system, Kinyen and Bothawui. It would be given the symbol of the Naboo enbodied into it's hull, which would not give our foes the impression the ship belongs to the Galactic Empire." George pauses for a moment, "I wont lie to, sir. The Star Destroyer would most defenatly become the Flagship for the Naboo, and I couldn't have opperatives onboard it if I don't know who they are. It is a security risk, which could mean an assassination attempt. I don't accuse you of anything, ofcourse, but I would rather be safe that sorry."

Now George takes a sip of the water he reached for earlier. He then goes to say, "I can assure you, the most action the Star Destroyer would see is fights against pirate forces attempting to destroy or capture something withing the Naboo Empire borders. Our attack fleet is built up of ships from long ago, which you yourself may have fought in. However, you maybe to young for that."

George sits and waits for a responce.

Gregori smirked at the comment that the King had made about him being too young. He, being a Shi'ido, could live for very long. "I'm much older than you think, King."

Gregori calmed down and continued to speak. "If my idea is out of the question, then perhaps a comprimise. I'm sure you're very responsible, but we must keep a close eye on all of our affiliates. Perhaps I can send an agent, once a month, to check on the Star Destroyer and it's crew. He will be clearly identifiable as one of my agents. After going through an inspection, I will have him exit the ship and not come back till the month after."

"On the topic of the slaves; how reliable are they? We don't just take a million slaves of any species. How well do these Gungans work? Are they effiecent?"

George nods as Gregori explains his idea for a comprimise. He goes to say, "Those terms are most agreeable. I'd gladly accept those terms." George then listens to Gregori ask how efficient the Gungens are. George smirked. "These Gungans have built almost half of the Thed Palace's extention, to high quality." George pauses for a moment, "They have also built many underwater bases on Naboo, Kinyen and Bothawui for the Naboo. If them expanding my Empire's asset wealth is efficient, they are very."
