Possible new character

I'm thinking of possibly applying to play my blind Jedi character as a second character. I've pretty much only played her as being a Jedi master, but I've only played her as an apprentice (barely, actually. I wouldn't even call her an apprentice in that game) once, and I've yet to play her as a knight. If I gave more information about the character, would anyone be interested in role playing with her and having a storyline of some sort going on? I wouldn't mind playing her as a knight, especially since I'm playing an apprentice already.

And no, she's not a Miraluka. XD She's not blind by birth, just by...experimentation, sort of.

I've been looking for a place to play her again, and since I don't want to play her at my own game (not that I could- I have too many characters there as it is), I figured this place could work. XD

Sweet. I'll give you a basic background of her right now, and I'll start working on her application so that it can be up by at least the end of the weekend.

Her name is Riley, and she was born on Corellia. When she was...I think twelve (it's been a long time since I looked at her profile), she was wandering too far and found a cabin with some men in it. She saw them kill one of the other men, was caught, kidnapped, and taken somewhere where a laser-type-machine was used to take her eye sight away. The men brought her back and dumped her at the door step of an old woman, who helped the best she could. Not long after, Riley found out her parents had been killed, probably by the men who'd kidnapped her. She continued living in her parent's cabin.

Any ideas on a storyline? o.o I don't know off the top of my head what your character is, but I'll take a look and maybe see if I can think of any ideas, unless you come up with some.

Hmm. I was thinking that Riley would probably be seventeen or eighteen...although she'd probably still be an apprentice, right? So then she should be in her early twenties or so? Depending on what you want to do as far as storylines go...the only things I can think of is maybe he's like an older brother to her (assuming they would have met when he was at the academy) or something, I dunno. o.o You know your character better, so...I'm working on getting the profile done. Should be up before I go to work, hopefully.

Hmm, well....let me brainstorm a bit. Those are all great ideas. I'll get back to you later when I can get my mind working, I kind of just woke up, lol. I may have her tied in with his old master, or the Force Gem incident. who knows, she has lots of potential for good stuff. Brb later.

o_O I just read about the Force Gem and am unsure as to how she could be connected to it, but I'd like to see what you come up with. Also, I ended up making her twenty-two, since I figured Obi-Wan and Anakin were both around that age when they were knights in the movies. I posted her bio and it got accepted, so feel free to post your ideas and I'll try and brainstorm with you. I have to work until 7:30 EST so I should be at my computer around 8, 8:30 or so if you want to chat on AIM. My screen name is JedioftheFlame, and I just added you.

Notes...

- Riley entered the academy at 16...so Jaren would be 19 when he met her. He would not have been training with her but at that time he would be already a Padawan with Nadaan.

- Jaren would be mature enough to help Riley. Due to his naturally protective nature he would help her. Grow a close bond between them? Bond purely based on close friendship. Personality probably not suited for a brother/sister.

- Riley can try to persuade Jaren to go back to the Academy. Persuasion fails.

- Riley and Jaren can develop a special bond between them whenever Jaren is around Riley she can see the Force Gem's color through the Force, regardless if Jaren is wearing anything to cover it up. Thus, she knows what he is feeling at all times. she can eventually see Jaren fully in the Force.

Oooh. I definitely like all of this. As far as them thinking of each other as brother and sister, they don't have to be like...you know, absolutely perfect siblings to each other or something. I think clashing personalities in that respect could be interesting to see.

I like the idea of Riley not being able to convince him to come back, too. Especially since the fact that she's going to even bring it up is a big step for her.

I'm going to IM you in a few minutes on AIM and maybe we can discuss a bit more, and start a thread.
